Randal & Akiko {Wedding}

Randal and Akiko were married at the Matthaei Botanical Gardens

in Ann Arbor in late September.  This is a really amazing place to have your ceremony if you are planning an intimate one.  The gardens were absolutely beautiful and were the perfect backdrop for portraits afterwards.  Randal made my job easy by making Akiko laugh throughout the day, so all I had to do was shoot.  They were fun, goofy, and very obviously in love.  The reception followed at a house that they rented out for the occasion.  They used the large back porch for a cocktail hour and had a tent out on the lawn for dinner.  Everything was beautiful and everyone had a great time.

Bre & Bryan {Engagement}

I just want to take a minute to give a shout out to a fabulous wedding planner that I have had the opportunity to meet with a lot lately. If you are looking for a little, or a lot of help getting your wedding day perfectly planned, check out Lindsey at . I am very excited to be working with her on 3 weddings so far next year, because I know she will have everything under control. Check her out!

Below I have Bryan and Breanne’s engagement photos. We went up to his parents house in Cheboygan where they have a lot of proprety. We did a little safari through the woods with their dog in tow, and then even got them riding on the 4-wheeler. Oh, and I climbed a tree.  I do that on a lot of shoots now that I think about it :) It was a fun day!

Brett & Claire {Wedding}

Brett and Claire got married this September at .  They had their ceremony right outside in the courtyard, and the cocktail hour and reception inside.  Very convenient.  Brett is a little camera shy, so we tried to keep the portraits part short and sweet, but still got some great ones of the two of them.  It was a very emotional day, lots of happy tears, which I love :)
