I was driving home from dinner last night and I saw something black and small and moving in the middle of a busy road. Not uncommon to see roadkill up here, but this was really small. We stopped to see what it was and it was a little kitten absolutely freaking out. Luckily she didn’t get hit by anyone, but I had to take her with me. After checking with the houses in the area to see if anyone knew where she came from, we had no luck. We brought her home and she slept in a box in the bathroom. This afternoon I took her to the vet and he estimated that she is about a month old, but is very very small (about a half pound). So we are feeding her and in the meantime trying to find her a home. If anyone knows of someone that is wanting a cat, just show them this picture and please let me know. I am allergic so I can’t keep her. Thanks!
***UPDATE***
My vet called me this evening and let me know that they had gotten a phone call from a couple looking for a kitten. I called them and they came right out and got her. They seem like they will give her a wonderful home with friends to play with and all the love she needs. So I am very happy
