Matt & Alison {Wedding}

Matt & Alison had an incredible outside wedding at Snow Moon Ranch which is a Llama Farm up by Traverse City.  It was an absolutely amazing place to hold a wedding.  I personally love any wedding that takes place on a farm, because somewhere between growing up in metro Detroit and living in California, I found a love for all things country :)  Don’t ask me how that happened.  The entire day of their wedding it threatened to rain, with dark cloudy sky’s, which was actually perfect for photos so I didn’t mind.  But just as they sealed the ceremony with a kiss, the sun came out from behind a cloud and stayed that way until just before the tented reception began.  It was literally like a movie, and they were the perfect lead roles.  You can see in these pictures just how happy and excited they were to be getting married to each other, and I was so honored to be part of their day!

Jeff & Laura {Wedding}

Jeff and Laura were married last month the weekend before Christmas at the beautiful Whitney in Detroit.  They had their ceremony on the landing of the staircase with people sitting above and below.  They were super fun to work with, and you could just see the sparkle in both of their eyes all day long.  I’m really happy for you guys and glad you chose me to spend your day with you!  Here are LOTS of my favorites:)

Happy 2010 :)

We said goodbye to 2009 last week, and I just wanted to take a minute to say thanks to all of my couples from last year.  We shot 28 weddings, met tons of great people, and had a great time doing it.  So here are pics from each wedding, most of which you haven’t seen because I’m a sucky blogger…. but I will continue to post the weddings from last year throughout the beginning of this year.  I have some interesting and new things going on this year so I will keep you all updated as they unfold.  I hope everyone had a great holiday season, and is ready for this new decade!  Thanks everyone!
