Taylor and Jessica are getting married this fall, right after Thanksgiving at one of my favorite places, Henry Ford’s Lovett Hall. They are both students at U of M and live in Ann Arbor, so we went out around campus for the day shooting their engagement session.

Jason & Logan {Wedding}

Jason and Logan were married a few weeks ago at Logan’s parents beach house in South Haven. It was a beautiful view of the water and we got to spend some time on the beach at sunset, which can never be a bad thing It was a really fun day and an even better party later in the night, as you will see below, there were a few surprises, including some fireworks!

Bryan & Abby {Wedding}

Bryan & Abby were married a few weeks ago in Holland. They got ready in one of the coolest hotels I have seen, the City Flat’s Hotel. It was very modern and I got some really great detail shots there. They had a quick first look on the train tracks, and then we jumped in the limo and went to the beach and a park in Holland to do some portraits. We got to Boatwerks, where they had their ceremony and reception outside on the lawn, pretty early so I had plenty of time to shoot all the awesome details. Abby went with a yellow ad grey color scheme which I had never seen before, but it looked amazing. The sun came out right before the ceremony started, and everyone started the party early. It was a really great place for a wedding and so much fun. Thanks guys!

AJ & Cassie {Engagement}

I met up with AJ & Cassie in Grand Rapids to shoot their session. AJ was home on a week of leave from Germany, and this is the last time they will see each other before their West Point, NY wedding in December. I was happy they set aside some of their valuable time to shoot with me, and we got some really great shots!

Dwayne & Katie {Wedding}

Dwayne & Katie were married in Swartz Creek In Katie’s mom’s backyard. There was a lot of space to run around and even a nice ceremony spot cleared in a large field. It was very intimate, and Katie did such a great job on decor. I have never before seen an avocado in a flower arrangement and a bouquet that is more plant than flower. It was all really cool. We had a lot of places to go for pictures, all right on her street. I am really excited about these pics, I hope you like them!

Ethan & Shannon {Wedding}

You may remember Ethan & Shannon from their two part engagement session I posted last year. For their wedding day Ethan and Shannon were married in downtown Grand Rapids at the Cathedral of St. Andrew in June. We had a perfect day, and a lot of time in between to run around town. Since we got so many great e-pics we spent majority of the time doing some really fun bridal party pictures. They brought homemade mustaches which I thought were really cute The reception followed at Mosaic Space, just a few blocks away. Everyone had a great time and the dance floor was packed!!

Ryan & Courtney {Wedding}

Ryan & Courtney really like to kiss. I mean really really like to kiss I think the videographer had them hold a kiss for 3 minutes straight, and they really didn’t mind. They got married at Oak Pointe Country Club in Brighton, which as you recently saw on my blog, is a beautiful place. The Club even let Ryan & Courtney bring their three dogs, Kinsey & Kaiser, ring bearers, and Kenga, a flower girl. They were the smallest dogs I have ever seen, and I was running around with no shoes on just in case. Of course I loved every minute of having them around, and got some really cute pictures. As for the bride and groom, you may notice that Courtney has a huge smile that just lights up her whole face when she sees Ryan. She was smiling the whole day, and they even laughed through most of the ceremony. I’m so glad I ended up getting to shoot your wedding, it was so much fun and I love the way everything turned out Have fun in Texas!

Jeremy & Natasha {Wedding}

Jeremy and Natasha were married this past weekend in Gaylord at Camp Au Sable, the place they met while working at the summer camp. The wedding was truly a family affair, with both of their fathers stepping up as ministers, their aunts making all of the food for the reception, and cousins putting together the flowers and decorations. Everything turned out beautifully, and no one even complained when it started pouring rain in the middle of the ceremony. They had the coolest exit I have ever seen in one of the camp’s go-carts, among a field of bubbles! It was a really fun day, and you can really see how much they love each other. Thanks for letting me be part of your day, and have a great honeymoon!
