I met up with Geoff and Sarah a couple weeks ago to capture a very special time in their lives – their first baby 
You might remember them from their wedding a few years ago or their super cute engagement session. Sarah basically looks the same, just with a basketball sized stomach… yes she’s one of those girls…. 
I had so much fun catching up with them and I can’t wait to meet their little girl in May!
I have gotten to shoot some real cuties since we moved back to Northville in the Fall. Here is a great example of what we like to do with a newborn session. While it is nice to get the studio set up shots of new born babies while they are still tiny, we really like to show more of the relationship with mom and dad as well. We met with Rick & Brittany (who you might remember from their wedding here) at their house very soon after Malone’s arrival. They told us that all she had done since she had been home is sleep, but we didn’t see much of that while we were there When Brittany put her in the little wing onsie, I almost died – it was the cutest little outfit ever. They also wanted a Christmas card/baby announcement photo, so we put her in a sweet little reindeer hat that did the trick.
I spent some time hanging out with Ella last week and got to see what her favorite things to do are. The two main things: reading & “cooking” . She made me some yummy plastic food and read some books, and showed me her new bedroom. She is going to have a baby sister soon so she got upgraded to a big girl room just in time for her 2nd birthday. Here are a few of my favorites!
