If anyone has picked up the most recent copy of The Knot Michigan Magazine, you may have seen Art & Jenny’s wedding featured in the special Ann Arbor section. I am always so honored when they want to publish the weddings I have shot, but it seems to take a long time, Art & Jenny were married back in June of 2009!!
As we closed out 2010, and have started on 2011, I want to take a minute to thank all of our amazing wedding couples from last year. Every wedding was so unique, and so exciting as well. We got so many great pictures this year, saw so many different places, and met so many great people. Thanks everyone! As we look forward to meeting all of the couples we will get to work with this year, we have a few things going on in the coming months….
You may have noticed the new website layout. I am really happy with the simplicity of it and how it really shows off our bright and fun style. Nothing but photos, which is really all we want to show. Next weekend we will be in Grand Rapids at the Annual Bridal Show, so stop by if you are in the area! We will keep announcing things as they come, so stay tuned.

OK, I am skipping around a little bit here, but I wanted to showcase this reception place.
Shawn & Mira were married in November, so they needed an inside location, and they wanted to do everything in the same place. They chose Rock Financial in Novi. I have done bridal shows there, and from everything I have seen it is just a big building with space in it. Recently they opened up their reception areas, and they are gorgeous! You basically get to start from scratch and build whatever you want. Now, I wasn’t really sure what to expect as a ceremony location, but they did an amazing job setting up the room for Shawn & Mira to say their I Do’s. They wanted a little bit of a Christmas theme, so the aisle was lined with trees with Christmas lights. It was beautiful! Plus the food was really good, and you really can’t ask for more than that Also, the hotel where they got ready, The Hotel Baronette by Twelve Oaks Mall, had a great place to do their first look, and some nice photo spots throughout the hotel.
On top of the really nice locations, Shawn & Mira were so much fun to work with. They braved the cold, and Mira walked around in the woods in 3 inch heels! I think after seeing the pics that Mira should be a super model:) I’ll let the pics speak for themselves…..
