It has been forever since I posted here, mainly because August and September were crazy busy. I have soooo many awesome weddings and e-sessions to post so I am going to start with one of my favorites. Dan & Katie were so much fun to shoot and to hang out with. They were super comfortable with each other and were just goofy and lovey (is that a word) all day. They were married at Misty Farm in Ann Arbor, which was new for me, but I hope to shoot there again! With the help of Ana Skidmore from Two Foot Creative, the decor was beautiful and everything ran smoothly. Darrell and I both photographed their wedding…… A lot of you may already know Darrell, but he is my boyfriend/business partner/other photographer, and I have decided that I need to post some of his pics on here too. Not only because it is a more complete idea of the day, but because they are awesome!

Dan & Katie got ready at the Weber’s Inn In Ann Arbor. I loved this mirror, and the anticipation and nervousness that you see in Katie while she was getting her final touches on.
Darrell got this cute pic of Dan getting his tie on.
We shot some fun and goofy bridal party and couple pics before the wedding. There were so many great places on the farm to go….

The ceremony was really hot and sunny, but short and sweet. I love the moss letters of their names on the alter.

Katie’s friend who plays the bagpipes kindly walked them down the aisle
my view:
Darrell’s view:
The barn at the farm was absolutely gorgeous, and the perfect place for dancing later in the evening
After dinner, that was provided by Zingermans Deli (soooooo good), we got a few sunset pics.

Darrell got this one which I think is my favorite from the day

Dan & Katie met at the Casino, so a lot of little details were related to that. I loved the touch of Dan’s cuff links

all of the details were amazing, there were so many I had to put them in a collage
They were led into the barn for dancing by a line os sparklers, which always makes for a good picture
This was during their first dance…. It was like nothing I have ever seen, and I loved every minute of it! It was very them

There was lots of dancing all night, and Darrell got this sweet shot from the loft to prove it.
Thank you guys so much for letting us be part of your day. it was really unforgettable. We look forward to seeing you a lot next year since Katie is my new “chief of advertising” haha!!
